I purchased the red instant dye shampoo , I left it on a little longer than the recommended 10 minutes because I wanted a deeper red colour. As you can see it didn’t get my desired colour it’s more of a copper than a red . But I am still happy with how easy it was to apply and the result I got.
Sorry guys, I meant to put that i used the Purple shampoo. It does stain so I'd wear the gloves. I love my results and the colors it turned my hair. It covered my gray/white roots all of them. Left it on 25mins. Wore gloves to rinse it out. It made my hair shiny and silky too. Stop using harmful box dyes and give polar a try. 10 outta 10 for me.
I was very sceptical but then I saw a friend who followed your brand and asked her about the shampoo. After her recommendation I purchased Dark brown and have not been disappointed. I was pretty hesitant in trying Polar Haircare. It just sounded too good to be true. However I tried it. I bought the red shampoo dye since I had previously dyed my hair red. I was so surprised at the end. It covered my greys very good and I'm very happy. I will most definitely buy another one!

It was good. Only colour is not matched. I should’ve ordered dark brown or even black. Medium brown is a bit too light for my hair colour. And i don’t use this product as a shampoo. If so, I would’ve used the whole bottle up too quickly. I only apply this around the roots only and leave for more than 10 mins then use my normal shampoo to wash my hair. It actually dyes grey hair. But a little irritating feeling. But it works.

This hair dye definitely works, it gives full coverage and a nice deep black. However… this is not stain free as I have seen advertised. I figured I’d give it a test to see if it was stain free and unfortunately it left my finger nails stained for a week and the palms of hands went a horrible brown colour, so I’d suggest definitely wearing gloves if you use this dye. Saying that though it definitely works as a dye and will use it again but with gloves next time.
My medium to dark brown hair was dyed strawberry blonde well over a year ago. The blonde shampoo colors my grays blonde and even lifts my darker roots into a lovely smooth blend which pleases me very much.
I received my order today and 1 of 3 boxes was crushed, and the dye outside the box. I would like a refund or replacement please.
Not going to lie I forgot to take a before picture however the top portion of my hair was black and the bottom was red. I think that this die worked really well for a 10 minute product. I will definitely do a second run to get the desired effect but I love it.
It worked better than I could have hoped... smell is light and lovely... did not stain my hands or scalp and rinsed well from my hair and my tub! Did a mix of 2 parts brown and 1 part red. I was a bit nervous to go all red! Very happy with the result! Thank you Polar.

I rarely write reviews, but I am so impressed with the Polar Hair Dye Instant Dye Shampoo (1 Red) that I had to share my experience. First off, the process was incredibly easy to follow—just like using a regular shampoo, but with vibrant results! I dyed my hair back on November 19th 2025, and I can happily report that the color still hasn't faded! It's now 24th Jan 2026, and the only part of my hair that isn't perfectly red is the new natural growth near my scalp. The longevity is absolutely incredible. If you're looking for an easy application and perfect, long-lasting color, I highly recommend this product. It totally exceeded my expectations! I am sharing my before and after pictures. I thought it would be helpful for some of your blonde potential customers to see this since I found reviews to be very far and few. My natural hair color is ash blonde, which is dull to begin with. I have both blonde and red highlights so I was concerned how the color would come out with so few reviews to help me in my decision. My friend's brown hair turned out beautiful so I thought I would give it a try. I LOVE IT!! It covered the 2 1/2 inch gray growth nicely!! My blonde and red highlights are vibrant again and my hair is very soft. I left the product on for 30 minutes. I choose a longer timeframe do to my friend's experience and the many reviews that mentioned that longer time covered the gray better. My hair is silver with highlights of brown but I dye my hair red. For years I have used dyes but when I tried this shampoo dye for the first time for my regrowth I was totally amazed! I’ll be buying more, it’s so easy to apply (I still use gloves), my hair is soft with no broken hair, smells fine & so easy. Definitely recommend this product !! Can’t believe it’s not in shops.

I got purple. I love it you can see how it was tested first on a couple of strands. I left mines on for about 20- 30 min not 10. And use a good hydrating conditioner. my grey did peek back in about 2 weeks which is wash time, so I only covered my roots. So the company says they will send you a free bottle if you submit to them a video. I did that and never received a free bottle nor heard from them. So I guess when other reviewers say they have horrible customer service that seems possible. But I do like the product

I like the dye my hair with my braids are still on my head so with this shampoo dye work really good it covers all the gray at the scalp and all through the braids too 💕
I thought it said free conditioner ! I did not know what to do ! There are no instructions past dying your hair so it doesn’t seem to think about how to condition it how to shampoo it after that how to keep the color in so I’m kind of confused over that.
