It did not cover my gray. It totally messed up my hair. Now I have to start all over letting my gray hair grow back and go through the skunk stage again. But now I have gray and a weird brown and gray again. So unhappy I tried this. Not at all what was promised.
The shampoo/dye turned my grey hair slightly yellow, not really covering it at all, and certainly not light brown. I had high hopes of this product and feel really disappointed.
This is the 2nd time I am ordering 3 again . I feel my hair grow thicker and everytime I use it when the liquid get into my scalp I don’t feel any soreness or pain and my hair is soft and growing. Better that going to Sally’s yes cheaper buying the dye but not satisfied . I ordered medium brown but it has not covered the greys to look medium brown to match my colored hair. My white hairs are light blonde now and the rest just have a slight change in tone. Your ads show white roots turning to dark, so I am disappointed and upset to spend that much money for product that doesn’t work I have tried it twice, following all your instructions. The second time I put more on and left it 15 minutes. Still looks blonde more than brown. Please advise - what can I do?
I've ordered a bundle of 3 bottles, 2 medium brown and one dark brown, as I wanted the result to be something in between, close to my natural hair color. I mix approximately 2/3 of medium and 1/3 of dark brown. I have medium long hair. The first time I've applied it, following the instructions, I've got a good result, my grays were covered but a bit of the lighter tone. And the amount of the product wasn't enough. Though, it lasted for 3-4 weeks, which pleasantly surprised me. Didn't leave stains on my skin, but I used gloves, just to be sure. The second time I've used more of the product, the same ratio and left it on for about 30min. Then added some water and worked it on all the hair. Left it for another 5-10min and rinsed it. Amazing results, just like with the hair dye. It lasted for 4-5 weeks, very even colour, grays completely covered. My hair was shiny and looked healthy. In my opinion, depending on the length of hair, the bottle won't last for more than 4-5 treatments, but only knowing that I'm not treating my hair with chemicals and still getting the same result, is a winner for me. Not all the hair is the same type (length, absorption of the product), so probably you have to test it and adjust the application accordingly. I am very satisfied and definitely will be using this product as a replacement for hair dye
I got tired of coloring my hair every month or so and the long wait time before the rinse out. The smell wasn’t great either. I decided to try Polar. I haven’t worn a “normal” hair color in years. My last color was a blue but Polar didn’t have blue so I chose the purple. I tried it and it did cover my gray hairs and the overall color wasn’t too bad. The third time I used it my hair color changed to more of a dark reddish brown. Hence the four stars. Wish you had a blue!
I have used polar hair shampoo for the first time. It’s done exactly as it said it would and has covered all my grey hairs. However it has stained my surface which it states it doesn’t do and has also stains my forehead which it stated it wouldn’t.
I do love the color but my Grey's popped out after only 3 days. It just kill ed me I can't find anything to get rid of the Grey but I do love the color purple. Even though I just did my hair a week ago is it alright to do my roots again?

Do not purchase this product, it does not give you any coverage and it will dry your hair out! I used up almost the whole bottle week after week to give it a chance!
While the product is a decent altternative to traditinal hair dye, the packaging and application are similar and need some improvement. The pump mechamism is difficult to operate and the formula doesn;t lather suffiently, making it hard to evenly distribute through the roots. As a result the standard portions 2-3 pumps don't provide adequate coverage. For hair colors between black and brown the root coverage is mediocre. additionally, the forumula heavily stains household surfaces like tile sinks so users should exercise caution during application. The product is definiatley easier to remove from my skin than hard surfaces.

Having been a Hairdresser for many decades , working in high fields of hairdressing and best products I am so impressed with Polar hair shampoo. the process was easy but i have received three and the color is way to light.
Followed all instructions and my hair had different colours all over, res, brown, black…. Some spots colour didnt work at all. Hair got damaged, so dry, not worth it.
The quality pf the shampoo is not good. I followed all instructions and the result was different shades on my hair, from red to black and some places no colour at all. My hair got really dry as well. Ive used other shampoos before and this is the worst experience I had so far.
